Last Thursday Jan. 29th, we had our second doctor's appointment. It was a much better experience from the first appointment. We got to see the baby again which of course was the highlight! We were able to get a few more pictures and even one of the baby pointing it's finger! Pretty cool! We also got to hear the heartbeat, which we saw at the first appointment but got to hear this time. Baby was looking perfect and healthy! The doctor said that she didn't see anything wrong with my uterus so that was a huge relief. And I only had to have one vial of blood drawn as opposed to six so that made it even better. Here are a few pics of the little bambino.

Overall things are going well here in dreary Davis. Weather has been pretty depressing, overcast and rainy the last couple weeks. I am ready for Spring even though I know we need the rain. I was super busy this last week. I had six reports due for work in addition to working my normal LONG work days. Tim just finished up his rotation in radiology. He also found out that he got a job interview at a clinic in Kona, Hawaii! So lucky guy gets to fly out in a few weeks for a working interview. I tried to make it work so that I could go too but work is too crazy this month. He will just have to take me another time.
Jess, I didn't even know you were preggers! That great news - a belated congrats to you and yours! Great idea keeping a baby blog btw. I'll try and check in often for updates. Hope you are doing well!
ReplyDeleteYay! I am so happy for you guys...such an adventure- and I am so glad you have a blog to keep us all in the loop! I started one when I was pregnant and it is so much fun to look back and read the things that I wrote- some important things and a lot of seemingly not important things...and those are the things that I am glad I documented. Don't be discouraged if you don't write all the time- but don't give up. Stop by anytime- Ollie and I would love to see our future playmate!
