Happy Valentines Day!

We are at the end of a fantastic three day weekend, but have enjoyed every minute of it! Tim and I spent Friday night watching the opening ceremonies of the Olympics. We tuned in for the WHOLE ceremony because our old team mate/fellow team captain from the UC Davis Track team is on the Women's Olympic Bobsled Team. So if you are keeping up with the Olympics watch for Emily Azevedo! Go AGS!
Saturday we were in San Francisco all day enjoying a beautiful sunny day in the city. On Sunday we went on a five mile walk, through the UC Davis arboretum (where we used to run on a daily basis) and saw the beginnings of Spring starting to bloom. I think that Monday's should be mandatory days off every week! We haven't done too much today but we aren't feeling guilty for not being productive!
Last night I think my stomach muscles gave up and stopped sucking the baby in. So I think I am officially "showing" now. No more sucking it in. Two Wednesday's ago marked the 3 month mark! We are officially in our second trimester. I have started to feel better and can finally eat more at meals. Now I am consuming everything in sight! Look OUT! Here are updated pictures.

We have another busy week coming up. I am leaving for an Applied Behavior Analysis Conference in LA on Wed for work and won't be back until Friday. Then Saturday we will head down to Martinez for the night and take Tim to the airport early Saturday morning for his interview in Hawaii. Lucky!

Twelve Weeks!

Last Thursday Jan. 29th, we had our second doctor's appointment. It was a much better experience from the first appointment. We got to see the baby again which of course was the highlight! We were able to get a few more pictures and even one of the baby pointing it's finger! Pretty cool! We also got to hear the heartbeat, which we saw at the first appointment but got to hear this time. Baby was looking perfect and healthy! The doctor said that she didn't see anything wrong with my uterus so that was a huge relief. And I only had to have one vial of blood drawn as opposed to six so that made it even better. Here are a few pics of the little bambino.

Overall things are going well here in dreary Davis. Weather has been pretty depressing, overcast and rainy the last couple weeks. I am ready for Spring even though I know we need the rain. I was super busy this last week. I had six reports due for work in addition to working my normal LONG work days. Tim just finished up his rotation in radiology. He also found out that he got a job interview at a clinic in Kona, Hawaii! So lucky guy gets to fly out in a few weeks for a working interview. I tried to make it work so that I could go too but work is too crazy this month. He will just have to take me another time.
